INFLUENZA VACCINE
Bowling Green Family Physicians will begin giving flu shots beginning Oct. 1, 2011. We will be having flu clinics where you will be able to schedule an appt. to receive the flu and/or pneumonia shot only.
Flu shots will be available to receive during an office visit also, so ask the nurse or provider.
We will be giving the Fluzone high-dose for those that are over 65. Medicare does cover the high-dose. The regular flu shot will be available to anyone 6 months of age to age 64.
We do not provide flu shots for any medicaid, buckeye, caresource or paramount advantage insurance. The flu shot will be available at the health dept.
